प्रेम्णा पुरा परिगृहीतमिदं कुटुम्बं
चेल्लालितं तदनु पालितमद्य यावत् ।
सम्प्रत्यपि स्तिमितवस्त्रमिवांगलग्नम्
एतज्जिहासुरपि हातुमनीश्वरोऽहम् ।।

I used to love my family.
I cherished them, and have
looked after them to this day.
yet now, as they cling to me
like a wet shirt, I want to let go,
but I can't!
