Chandonuśāsana 6.22.3

चूडुल्लउ चुण्णीहोइसइ मुद्धि कओलि निहित्तउ ।
निद्दड्ढउ सासाणलिण बाह-सलिल-संसित्तउ ॥




चूडुल्लउ — चूडकः (m. bracelet)
चुण्णीहोइसइ — चूर्णी-भविष्यति (चूर्णः m. powder + च्वि)
मुद्धि — (हे) मुग्धे ([innocent, helpless] girl)
कओलि — कपोले (m. cheek)
निहित्तउ — नि-हितः (नि-धा put + क्त)
निद्दड्ढउ — निर्दग्धः (निर्-दह् burn up + क्त)
सासाणलिण — श्वासा (m. sighs) एव अनलेन (m. fire)
बाह-सलिल-संसित्तउ — बाष्पानाम् (m. tears) सलिलेन (n. water) संसिक्तः (सम्-सिच् sprinkle + क्त)

“When you put that bracelet on your cheek, girl,
it will be turned to powder:
burned up by the fire of your sighs,
then sprayed with the water of your tears.”
