Uttararāmacarita 5.17

अहेतुः पक्षपातो यस्तस्य नास्ति प्रतिक्रिया ।
स हि स्नेहात्मकस्तन्तुरन्तर्भूतानि सीव्यति ।।

there's no reversing it,
that irrational, uncaused
leaning-towards-someone;
it's a thread of love
which sews together
our inner beings.
