यद् रात्रौ रहसि व्यपेतविनयं वृत्तं रसात् कामिनोर्
अन्योन्यं शयनीयम् ईहितरसावाप्तिप्रवृत्तस्पृहम् ।
तत् सानन्दमिलद्दृशोः कथमपि स्मृत्वा गुरूणां पुरो
हासोद्भेदनिरोधमन्थरमिलत्तारं कथंचित् स्थितम्  ।। (अमरुकस्य)

what the lovers did in secret last night
shamelessly, passionately
together on the couch,
longing for the desired climax--
they remember it now
in front of their elders,
eyes meeting gleefully,
hardly able to suppress
their rising laughter.
