Uttararāmacarita 1.37

विनिश्चेतुं शक्यो न सुखमिति वा दुःखमिति वा
प्रमोहो निद्रा वा किमु विषविसर्पः किमु मदः ।
तव स्पर्शे स्पर्शे मम हि परिमूढेन्द्रियगणो
विकारश्चैतन्यं भ्रमयति च सम्मीलयति च ।।

every time you touch me
i can't tell--is this
joy or sorrow?
ecstasy or sleep?
intoxication or poison?
something transforms,
confuses my senses,
thrills and stills my mind
all at once.
